Feature management
Remote configuration
Ship a string, number, or JSON config.

Use flag types STRING, NUMBER, or CONFIG when a feature needs more than a boolean. Read it with getValue(key, { fallback }). The fallback is used when the flag is absent from the snapshot.
CONFIG may declare a schema. The other types may not. Boolean flags cannot store a value. Put a structured payload on a CONFIG flag instead of encoding JSON inside a boolean name.
Public clients receive the value. Do not put secrets in a client-evaluated flag. Anyone with the client SDK key can request the public snapshot.
